Yesteryear Thoughts…

Reading Yesteryear by Caro Clarie Burke made my skin crawl, my heart pound, and my mind race. It threw off my sense of reality to the point where I had to ask my husband if we were  currently living in the same reality as our families and make him swear to help me if I ever started to take our family to a different one. I asked him to monitor the packages coming to the house for costumes. The amount of times I wrote “WTF” in this book for my Marked and Mailed Bookclub probably came to at least 50. Not that I was counting but it was definitely a recurring theme. I was too interested in finding out what would happen next, what out of touch with reality thing/thought Natalie would do/have next, and the twist at the end got all the letters, in each word, in all caps.  I’m still processing this book a week after finishing it. I probably should’ve taken breaks but I read a lot of it in one day. I do not recommend that. I should probably call the ladies now to process more thoughts. I highly recommend this book…just be prepared to use your support network.
